I am the Dir. of Technology at this startup. My experience was Tim has been one that leaves me wondering if I can ever get used to a new boss. When I mess up, he wants to know the totality of the issue so that he makes it easy for me to explain to the rest of the team. He has so much faith in me and the rest of the team that he brags about us all the time despite the fact that everyone has their own weaknesses.
Tim makes it a point to celebrate everyone’s birthday and everyone’s achievements as if they are the company’s own milestones… a thing that makes one not only feel but believe that they belong.
But heart is not worth much without knowledge, and Tim is no man to be minimized when it comes to the banking and employment benefits industry. Every time he makes an argument about business decisions it comes full of reasoning that has only come out of his experience and quest for knowledge.
He inspires me to not only develop software but put myself in the shoes of a customer, and in the shoes of our chairman, and suggest decisions that leave everyone happy and the business thriving. There couldn’t possibly be a more qualified president for this company.
Lastly, Tim and his team of C-Levels take integrity to the highest level. It’s an ever-present attitude among employees. Things like ‘CYA’ have been replaced by ‘If we know the entire truth, we will find a way to fix it’. Integrity is the most important thing a new employee needs to find in a company. I know Tim has led the way on this one and I am ever grateful.
